About TutoringForAct.com

Free tools that turn ACT practice-test results into clear score estimates, built from ACT's own published tables.

What this site does

The ACT changed in 2025. According to ACT, the Enhanced ACT is shorter, includes unscored field-test questions in every section and calculates the Composite from English, Math and Reading only. A lot of score charts online still use the old four-section math or count every question, which gives students the wrong number.

TutoringForAct.com started with the Enhanced ACT Score Calculator. You enter how many scored questions you got right, and it shows your section scores, Composite, STEM score, national percentile and the fewest extra correct answers that would raise your Composite by a point. It also handles scores from the older four-section test.

The site now has three more tools: an ACT superscore calculator, a score converter between the ACT and SAT built on the official concordance tables, and an ACT tutoring cost estimator that uses published rates. Guides and score pages explain what the numbers mean.

How the numbers are checked

The conversion tables come from ACT's official online practice test scoring key, and the percentiles come from ACT's national ranks table for the current testing year. Rounding follows ACT's own score guide: halves round up. When ACT publishes new national ranks or a new official practice key, the tables are rechecked against it and the source list on the calculator page is updated. Every factual claim on the site is logged with its source and the date it was checked.

Found a number that doesn't match ACT's tables? Tell us through the contact page and we'll check it against the source.

What this site doesn't do

We don't predict official scores, promise score gains or rank colleges. Nothing you type into a calculator is saved or sent anywhere. The site isn't affiliated with ACT.
